hi from Sabah.

hey yo!
from all the way in Sabah here i'm saying hello!

okay.
1st day.
we departed from uni at 11am and reached KLIA at 2pm. i think it's abit earlier than usual since the van driver drove super fast that the van kept on bouncing all the way to the airport.
then the 6 of us (our uni sent 6 ppl. anyway, we only have 6 ppl in a team anyway haha) went around KLIA taking pictures and exploring around making people think as though we never been to the airport before. we went over to the viewing area to see aeroplanes take off but all we saw was aeroplane moving around.
we wanted to buy chocolates but it was wayyyy too expensive. =.=
i'm tempted to buy at least one...maybe i will later going back. haha
we checked in at about 4pm then waited while eating Famous Amor's (is this how you spell it?), my treat. it cost about rm37 i think. oh well, i dont get to eat it all the time anyway. =)

we get to go in the plane at 7pm and it only took off at 7.50pm. oh ya. we sat the Firefly airplane. we thought it was Air Asia at first. hehe
their dinner was delicious, or maybe because i'm too hungry.
the air steward have all the same hairstyles. so weird.
the taking off was superb. it actually gave you the adrenaline rush. (yeah well, my first was 8 years old. i cant tell if it's flying or not kay =P )
we touched down at about 10.30pm over the the kota kinabalu airport and instead of getting to stay in the UMS hostel, we're staying over at some small budget hotel. it's called the Borneo Adventure Lodge. it's just a few minutes from the airport but it's situated near almost everywhere. we have KFC and Pizza nearby, pasar malam, Pasar Phillipine, and a shopping mall.
their service is friendly but their room's too small for 3 people. =X
that's first day. oh yeah, we have air con! haha

2nd day
we got up at 9am thinking that it's only 6am or 4am because our room does not have a single window. so the room's all dark. then we went over to UMS for our weighing. my weight dramatically dropped to 55.3 i think. but i know it's at 55
wow huh.
so sudden. thank God.
then we hang around UMS till 5pm doing nothing except taking pictures, sleeping, watching movie etc because we cant go back to the hotel as we dont have any transport except a van the was provided buy UMS.
then we went and bathe and have seafood dinner at pasar phillipines. superb delicious!
then we stop at the pasar just right beside our hotel to buy souvenirs. i got key chains for my roommates. monkeys! haha
oh oh! i found the nokia keychain guitar pick-look -alike. i sooo wanted that because it looked like a guitar pick. heheheh and it only cost rm1 nyeh heh
i'm trying to figure out what to get for other people but there's not suitable ones. and tomorrow's the only last day for shopping. saturday will be our game.
now it's 11.51pm and i'm over at the lobby onlining cause the room cant really get the wifi. have to get up at 6am to jog at some park just across from here. i'm sooo lazy!

anyway, UMS is so big, we only went to the hall and the cafeteria. i didnt see any hostel around..

oh, now there's this 2 sabahan women fighting with each other somewhere downstairs. can hear them bickering from up here =.= and i have no idea what are they shouting about.
i didnt tell you rite? this hotel is situated at the very wrong place as well. there's women downstairs sitting around the area as though they're doing illegal things, and i saw couples going up to those run down cheap hotels. there's rats and cockroaches at some streets.
donw worry, kota kinabalu is not this. this is the almost rural-old part of KK, the new part is near UMS =)

gotta get some revision done before going to sleep. man, jogging! urgh..
