do you know that Asians families stress on something like a white lie?
(okay i have no idea what i just said)
well we're in the car yesterday after dinner in grandma's house.
and my aunt is in the car with us.
the conversation between her and my mom goes on till she reached her house.
they're talking about the instant noodle that my youngest aunt bought for everyone.
she 'supposedly' bought every flavor of it but i only remembered the 'tomyam with santan' flavored noodle.
the thing is, before the went, my parents went over to Padang Besar in Perlis just for a ride to the Thai border and since i'm about to go back to uni in like a few more weeks, my parents bought the Thai branded instant noodles for me so i dont have to stick to the normal Maggi.
they bought everything except the santan flavored tomyam and duck flavored ones.
and then the week after, my youngest aunt went there after my mom told about that place.
let's come back to yesterday's story.
so in the car, my aunt ask me how's the flavor of the instant noodles (note the plural noun?)
so i bluntly said out "ah? i only have the ones that mom bought-" which i stopped quite quickly cause my mom had her brows burrowed at me; which indicates a WHOLE load of things with just the expression.
it clearly says 'no i do not buy that for you it is bought by your youngest aunt pls lie'.
oh well.
then i just erm, divert it by saying 'oh i ate the santan one.'
then my aunt goes 'ah yayayayayayayaya the santan ones are very niceeee. how about the tomyam one'
=.= what's with the tomyam man??
"oh the tomyam ones are okay larh" i replied. (while looking outside the window)
aiyoh. i still dont understand why must lie on this thing. oh well. only my mom knows about it.
bye now.
